Haggis Saddles proudly sponsors Tammy Shoremount's "Ride of a Lifetime" dedicated to Blue Ridge Hospice

Hospice Registered Nurse Tammy Shoremount is about to embark on a journey centered around two of her greatest loves—horses and hospice. Beginning in April, Tammy will participate in a five-month trail ride across America, coordinated and filmed by Best of America by Horseback.  This 1,700-mile ride will travel across eight states and touch three countries.

Tammy has been diligently training and conditioning her horse “Rocky” for this unique test of endurance for horse and rider.  Rocky is a four-year-old Rocky Mountain Horse, who has become a very special part of Tammy’s family.

She plans to dedicate this “Ride of a Lifetime” to the patients and families served by Blue Ride Hospice.  It is Tammy's wish that all pledge proceeds directly benefit our not-for-profit organization that has so deeply touched her heart.
